Detailed Description

The Late Summer Bean/Potato Crop Row base is made of a flexible textured cord to which realistic burnt green leaf flake flock is adhered to the stalk creating crop rows 3mm high. Besides bean and potato plants these leafy rows can be used for a number of vegetable plants! NEW "Silflorettes" contain 3 rows measuring approximately 8" long and approximately 1/8" high. AS FEATURED IN O-GAUGE RAILROADING JANUARY 2014 ISSUE!

First: Begin by preparing the furrowed field. The easiest and most effective foundation is the ready-made plowed field by Busch. No additional color or textures are required. Simply glue to your platform and allow to dry. (You may also carve furrows into a soft surface or blueboard. Paint the furrows a natural soil color.)

Second: Cut the crop rows to desired lengths.
Third: Apply a small amount of 3-IN-1 to the base of the crop row. Not much is needed. You do not want to apply so much as to mat-down the small leaf textures.

Joshua, our proud gardener, is taking great care cultivating the soil around his precious potatoes and bean rows. Shown is an O-Scale figure #EX1041 (Joshua is part of our 6-piece set Sante Fe Crew Set EX1706 )

Fourth: Place the glued base within the furrow and allow the glue to set a few minutes. Use tweezers or dental pick to push the row permanently in place.
