'The little buddy'. The North American P51 Mustang came into existence from a response from the British Air Ministry for a fighter that was able to escort well into Germany. The first flight of the Mustang was October 26, 1940, from there production would go on to number more than 15,000 units of all versions.Kit includes brass and laser-cut wood sandwiched-layered construction. Medium skill level.. **Tools required: White glue, 120 grit sandpaper, knife, tweezers, scissors, urethane and paints.
