Coal Bins & Tool Box - 1:48 Unpainted individual castings for creative placement. Large bin measures: 1-1/4"L x 5/8"W x 7/8"H. The two smaller bins: 1"L x 1/2"W x 5/8"H. WEATHERING TIP: It really isn't hard! It just takes a little practice. Volumes have been written but actually making something look weathered takes just a few steps. First, paint the part a base color (usually the original color as if it was new). Second, brush a thin wash of 4oz. of denatured alcohol and a drop or two of india ink. Apply multiple coats for a darker look. (See India Ink EX0141).
