BLACK INDIA INK - 1 oz. bottle. Waterproof drawing ink. Artist quality 100% intense, semi-flat, black finish. Cap contains dropper. Dilute with pure water. Dave Frary's recipe for "Black Wash": To make a general stock solution, mix 2 teaspoons of INDIA INK, 16 oz. of water and 4 oz. of rubbing alcohol. The mixture may be thinned more for lighter gray tones. Apply with brush or SprayMister (EX0023). FOR WEATHERING TIP: It really isn't hard! It just takes a little practice. Volumes have been written but actually making something look weathered takes just a few steps. First, paint the part a base color (usually the original color as if it was new). Second, brush a thin wash of 4oz. of denatured alcohol and a drop or two of india ink. Apply multiple coats for a darker look.
