O-SCALE MAILBOXES- 1:48 Scale. Set of two unpainted resin cast mail boxes. Put these on every corner of your town. Gray tone resin. Each measures 1/2"L x 1/2"W x 3/4"H. WEATHERING TIP: It really isn't hard! It just takes a little practice. Volumes have been written but actually making something look weathered takes just a few steps. First, paint the part a base color (usually the original color as if it was new). Second, brush a thin wash of 4oz. of denatured alcohol and a drop or two of india ink. Apply multiple coats for a darker look. (See India Ink EX0141).
